One of the best things that has come from my social media experience is “IRL” friends like yourself. It saddens me that so many see this tool as a replacement for customer service and direct communication with clients and colleagues alike. They don’t GET it. They are obviously unaware of the massive results for two restaurants that stemmed from a simple DM from a Prairie Village tavern called Johnny’s to Bonefish Grill in South Leawood(who happens to also have an amazing marketing agent) requesting contact info for a local shelter. Hel-LO people. #ThisIsAGoodThing How do we get them to see, Lex?

I’m really looking forward to this. I share the same sentiment as so many other local social media fanatics… this is another avenue to broaden our social media networks and education about this rapidly changing industry.
